ABOUT US

OUR STORY

Education to Inspire is a non-profit organization committed to democratizing education across the globe.  Our primary mission is to create a robust tutoring program for those struggling to afford an education. Through partnering with a variety of local schools in developing countries, we aim to provide underprivileged students with a qualified university tutor and help these students excel in their education.

OUR TUTORS

The majority of our tutors come from some of the best universities across Canada and the U.S. They have all been carefully screened and assessed to ensure that they are more than qualified to teach.

The selection process of our tutors is very strict. Each tutor must write several essays on why they are committed to the cause of Education To Inspire. On top of that, each tutor must also demonstrate academic excellence throughout their career as a university student.

HOW IT WORKS Bringing change

1. FINDING TUTORS

Recruitment

Our organization is built on the aid of individuals who wish to give back to their communities. We are constantly looking for university students who would be interested in volunteering for our organization and helping tutor children across the globe. As of right now, we have recruited several tutors from some of the best universities across the globe. By assessing each volunteer’s academic standing, we also ensure that they are qualified to teach other students.

2. FINDING STUDENTS

Promoting the Cause

By reaching out to various schools in underprivileged communities, we have managed to find several students interested in our cause. Furthermore, through the research of our team, we look at regional communities that would benefit from our program. Once we find these communities, we promote our organization through various platforms.

3. CONNECTING OUR TUTORS TO STUDENTS IN NEED

Helping The Community

Once we find both tutors and students interested in our cause, we help them connect with one another. The coronavirus has taught several educators across the globe that all you really need for a robust education is a computer and an internet connection. Students who have these resources will be able to connect with our university students from a number of free online platforms such as Whatsapp call, Skype, Facetime, Zoom, and Discord.

Of course, there are some cases where students do not have access to these resources. In this case, students are free to use our pen-pal style program. Students will be able to email their questions to our tutors and receive a reply within a few days. Students can choose to send assignments for clarification or even entire essays to receive constructive feedback. This way, a running internet connection is not necessary to be a part of our program.

4. DEMOCRATIZING EDUCATION

Aiding Those in Need

With our organization’s mission in mind, we plan to continue to promote and expand our organization. If you have any feedback or ideas, please feel free to let us know!
